Jesus was born in a manger with no place to go.  He was Born of a virgin, just as predicted, such a long time ago.  A man of sorrows and acquainted with grief.  He was poor and with no place to live.  Yet Jesus never sinned one time. 
Jesus went through great pain and suffered for my sins and yours.  He was scourged two times with the Roman scourge.  "by whose stripes ye were healed." 1 PE: 2:24: The Romans would imbed pieces of metal and glass in the leather whip and it would tear the skin right off the back of the victim. Jesus did not have to go through that; yet He bore the pain for you and me. 
Then, as if that was not enough, a band of soldiers took turns beating Him and mocked Him (this is the way they treated our King of the universe) so He was beaten bloody for you and me.
All the time He could have called a legion of Angels to deliver Him from this cruel treatment; yet Jesus stayed the course for our salvation.
But the path is not over yet; Jesus did not turn from the path He was on. He went to the bitter end.  Jesus Christ went to the cruel cross of Golgotha to die for our sins.  He was nailed to the cross for our sins (the sins of the world) so we can live at peace with God once again.  Jesus died there on Calvary that day so long ago.  He will bear His scars for eternity for you and I. So we may live unto God righteously through Him.  Praise God for the tiding of great joy the angels brought to the shepherds the day Jesus was born.  Thanks be to God for Jesus coming to take the sins of the world; that we may live. 
He loves you so much He died for you.  Jesus suffered the cruelty for you and I.  What will you do for Him?  If you love Him you will keep His commandments.  That is not much to ask after what Jesus done for us. He even gives us the power to do it.  That is why He had to die, don't you see?  Give your life to Jesus Christ today, do not delay.  He is standing at the door of your heart right now knocking; please let Him come in.
