My story can be amazing; for God works in amazing ways.  But I must make it short so it will fit on this page.  Lets take a journey through time.
It was about September of 1985.  I lived in Gillette WY at the time. I was walking down the street when a car pulled up.  A voice inside asked if I knew where to find a certain  bar.  Being the addict I was; I told him I would show him the bar for a drink. I jumped in the car.  Next thing I know I am on the way to Texas, Odessa to be exact.
We had been drinking for what seamed like weeks. We drank from the time we got up in the morning until we went to bed.  I had to take a break from all that.  So I parted company with this gentleman. 
I was feeling depressed and discouraged, I needed something different but I did not know what.  I was lonely and alone; even in a crowd. 
I went to this person's house I got my pot from; and got into a discussion with him about the end of the world.  He told me that the book of Revelation in the Bible had a lot of information in it about the end.  So I borrowed his Bible and started reading in Revelation.
I met a man in Revelation that would change my life. That man is Jesus.  I then turned to the gospels; I read Matthew  three times.  I was amazed at the love that God had for me.  I was enthralled at the beauty of Jesus Christ's character.  I felt like I had been revitalized; like life made sense again.  I started reading Revelation again.  I got to Revelation 3-20 "Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me." I got on my knees and surrendered my life to Jesus that moment. 
Jesus has completely changed my life since then. I thank Him for His great love for this fallen world and that Jesus would die for us.
